	Aditi Mangaldas
	Born in 1960 in Mumbai, Aditi Mangaldas was trained in Kathak dance under Kumudini Lakhia at Kadamb in Ahmedabad and was later a student of Birju Maharaj at Kathak Kendram Delhi. She has given Kathak performances in major dance festivals in India and has been featured in the Festivals of India in U.K., U.S.A., and the Soviet unions. She has subsequently established her own dance group, the Dristikon Dance Foundation, in Delhi and has been creating traditional as well as experimental productions in search of her own language in dance. Over the past years she has produced several choreographic works including Cheekh, Swagat Vistar, The Sound of the universe, Vrindakriti, etc. She has also conducted several workshops and presented papers at dance seminars.
