Ashwini
Bhide Deshpande received her initial training in music from her mother
Manik Bhide, a representative of the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana. She studied
with Pandit Narayanarao Datar to complete her Sangeet Visharad degree,
and subsequently under Ratnakar Pai. She also obtained a Master’s
degree in Science and Ph.D
Ashwini
Bhide-Deshpande is now an established concert artist, and has performed
in many major festivals in India and other countries. She has a number
of cassettes to her credit.
