Geetha Sundaresan

Geetha Sundaresan, has M.A.( Music) degree from Madras University with distinction. She is the disciple of Smt.D.K.Pattammal and Smt.Sulochana Pattabhiraman. She has given performances in many leading Sabhas in Chennai i.e. Sri Krishnagana Sabha, Narada Gana Sabha, Tyaga Brahmagana Sabha, Nada Inbam. Sri Kapali Fine Arts, The Indian Fine Arts Society, Hamsadhwani, Kartik Fine Arts,Nalinakanti Sabha, Nungambakkam Cultural Academy etc.

She won many prizes in music competitions and is an approved Artiste of the AIR for both classical and light music and has also been giving programmes in Doordarshan. Currently staying in Muscat, she is training many students and conducting music classes for Thyagaraja Samiti, Muscat.

She has sung in Tamil Sangam, Asianet Music Festival in Muscat and Indian fine Arts society in Dubai. She also visits Chennai and give concerts during December music season.

Geetha Sundaresan also has sung Classical, Light Classical and Dance Music with leading artistes in Audio Cassettes released by AVM and Sangeetha Studios in Madras.
