Manilal Nag

Born in 1939, Manilal Nag was initiated in music by his grandfather Govinda Nag and his father Gokul Nag of the Vishnupur gharana. He has been deeply influenced by other eminent musicians with whom he came in contact, and these interactions shaped his musical thinking and style. A reputed sitar player, Manilal Nag has participated in prestigious music festivals in India and abroad.
