Shahid Parvez

Shahid Parvez received his training in music under his father Ustad Aziz Khan of the Etawa gharana. He has given public concerts since the age of eight and has been featured in various music events in India and abroad. His style is marked by melodic elaborations in Gayaki Ang – the style of vocalists and great technical virtuosity. He has a wide repertoire of ragas and compositions. He has been a regular broadcaster and has a large number of cassettes and CDs to his credit.
