Shruti Sadolikar Katkar

Shruti Sadolikar-Katkar was groomed in Hindustani music by her father Vamanrao Sadolikar, a pupil of Ustads Alladiya Khan and Bhurji Khan of the Jaipur gharana. She did her M.A in music from the S.N.D.T University, Bombay, winning the Bhaskarbua Bakhle prize. Among the prominent vocalists of the younger generation, Shruti Sadolikar-Katkar has been a visiting professor at the Rotterdam Conservatorium, Netherlands. She has many cassettes and CDs to her credit.
