Sisir Kana Dhar Chowdhury

Sisir Kana Dhar Chowdhury received her early training under Ustad Mohammed Mian and was later a student of V.G.Jog and Ustad ali Akbar Khan. She broadcasts regularly on All India Radio. As the Allauddin Khan Professor of the Department of Instrumental Music at Rabindra Bharati university, sisir Kana has distinguished herself as a teacher. She has several discs to her creditand has performed widely in music events.
