Ulhas Kashalkar

Ulhas Kashalkar was initiated in music by his father Shri N.DKashalkar and later learnt under Ram Marathe. He polished his style and enhanced his repertoire under Pandit Gajananbua Joshi, assimilating the best of the Gwalior, Agra, and Jaipur traditions. Known for his layakaari and intricate tans, he has won an audience for himself in India and abroad. He is at present attached to ITC Sangeet Research Academy as a guru.
