Vaishali Trivedi

A noted Kathak dancer of the new generation, Vaishali Trivedi received her training under Kumudini Lakhis at Kadamb, Ahmedabad, on a Government of India scholarship. She has performed widely within and outside the country as a member of Kadamb’s group, participating in major events including the Festivals of India in the Soviet Union, Sweden and Germany. She has also performed in the Kalka bindadin Kathak Mahotsava in Delhi, the Konark Festival in Orissa, the Soorya Festival at Trivandrum and the India International Dance Festival in Delhi. She is now on the faculty of Kadamb school.
