Vasundhara Komkali

Vasundhara Komkali had her initial training in music under Prof. B.R.Deodhar in Bombay and thereafter received intensive training under her husband Kumar gandharva. She has collaborated in his research on various saint-poets and helped him in developing a new idiom in classical and devotional music. Among the musical works resulting from this close partnership are Geet-Varsha, Surdas, Tulsidas-darshan, Triveni and Rituraj Mehfil.
