Qualifications in the field of arts: Postgraduate diploma in kathakali(Vesham)from Gandhi Seva Sadan Kathakali Academy.

Receipient of National Scholarship from Ministry of Culture, India, for higher studies in Kathakali, for two years: Completed this course under the supervision of Kathakali maestro Padmasree Kizhpadam Kumaran Nair. He is Student of Late, Sri C.S.Krishna Iyer in carnatic music for more than 10 years.

Studied Bharatha Natyam under Kalamandalam Leelamma.

Regular classical and Kathakali vocalist in AIR(All India Radio Trissur) with ‘B high’ grade.

Original Productions: Wrote and Choreographed Kathakali plays ‘Sapamochanam’, ‘Karnnaparvam’, Manikanthacharitham’, Abhimanyu’,and ’Chitrangada’.Sapamochanam was telecasted in Dooradarsan Thiruvanantapuram several times.

Adapted ‘Julius Caesar’ of Shakespeare into Kathakali form with the title ‘Charudatham’. This was presented in National theatre festival of Sangeetha Nataka Academy(Nataka Bharathi) 2001.Kazarkode.

Designed novel headgears for the female characters and for Vavar, Salya, etc. in Kathakali. The photographs of those are preserved in the archives of Sangeeth Nataka Academy, New Delhi

Wrote and directed audio cassettes titled ’Sivadarsanam’ and ‘Sreekrishnadarsanam’ which was sung by renowned play back singer Jayachandran.

Cassette of ‘Ashtapadi’(Sopana sangeetham) was produced by ‘Manorama Musics’ that was sung by Harikumaran.

Published ‘Kathakali Attakkathakal’ by Mathrubhumi Books.
