Kalakendram Muraleedharan Namboothiri

Kalakendram Muraleedharan Namboothiri was born on Jan 11, 1969 in Elavanat Illam, in Kottayam District. His father is E.K. Narayanan Namboodiri and mother is Kamaladevi Antharjanam. He passed Pre Degree and Hindi Vidwan exam. He learned Kathakali for 9 years, from 1982 to 1991 in Kalakshethram, Kudamaloor.

He practised Kathakali from the famous teachers Kudamaloor Karunakaran Nair, Mathur Govindan Kutty, Kalamandalam Ramakrishnan and Kalamandalam Murali. Has expertised in "Minukku" characters.

Has performed Kathakali in many stages all around India namely Gujarath, Bombay, Bangalore, Delhi, Nagpur etc.
